While I'm on here...

Here are some from our day at Kemah and our trip to Camp For All as well. He is getting so big and he talks like crazy, he is addicted to baseball (yeah!) and he is full of joy!

Thought I would add some pictures of Brady since I was on here and I haven't done that in awhile. Here are some pics of him from a wedding that we went to a few weekends ago. He was so excited to wear his tie. I will remind him of that some day when he is complaining about it.
Tired after too much dancing...

Showing off his wedding suit. :) Isn't he handsome!!!

Teacher can't spell

Just realized that in my previous post I spelled graduate wrong. Thought I needed to correct that since I was their teacher. :)

The reason I teach...

Today I went to Bryan to see my very first class of 3rd graders graduage from high school. It was so awesome to see them walk across the stage and know that I played a small role in their journey to that moment. Knowing how hard I worked with some of them and to see that they "made it" was so rewarding. I have always loved what I do, but today I was reminded in a different way than I have ever experienced. I was so proud.
One of the kids that I worked the hardest with was George Lee pictured above (the picture I took with him did not come out :( ) George had many many obstacles to overcome in his young life and needless to say he could have gone either way and praise God he is on the right track. He was the senior class president and Senior class vice president was also a girl that I taught in 3rd and 4th grade. :)
What a great trip down memory lane!

One of those moments...

So the other night I had one of those moments with Brady where I knew that if God forbid that were the last time I got to be around him, I would have felt more at peace with it. We had bath time together (sometimes I have to suck it up and get in the tub with him if we are going to get it done!) and I was acting silly and he was cracking up so hard he couldn't breathe when he laughed. then we got out and were laying in my bed together playing this new game of his where he points at imaginary things and says, "oh, there's Barney, or there's Diego. Then he was saying, "There's witchy-poo (a figure his babysitter has made it up to help get the kids to behave) and I would say oh I'm scared. Brady then put his little arm around me as we layed down facing each other and said, "I'll hold you. Don't be scared okay?"

So cute! No tv's were on, no cell phones...it was a night of just undivided attention, silliness and lots of laughter. I was reminded that I should soak up more of these moments with the ones I love because it is things like this that will remain...not Grey's Anatomy (even though it was sooo good on Thursday night!!)

I will post pictures later. Happy Mother's Day to everyone who is blessed enough to have a little piece of you running around on this Earth!
